As part of the CareBridge Academy admissions process, applicants must complete and pass an entrance exam before continuing with enrollment.

The entrance exam includes:

• 10 math questions

• 20 reading-comprehension questions

• A 30-minute time limit

• A passing score of 70% in each section

To pass, you must correctly answer:

• At least 7 of the 10 math questions

• At least 14 of the 20 reading-comprehension questions

You may use a calculator. Notes, study guides, outside assistance, and other materials are not permitted.

• Have 30 uninterrupted minutes available;

• Have a reliable internet connection;

• Are in a quiet location; and

• Are prepared to complete the exam independently.

Documents must be legible and may not be expired where an expiration date applies.

Receiving a COVID-19 vaccination is not required by CareBridge Academy for admission to the Nurse Aide Training Program.

However, students attending clinical training at our Northeast Philadelphia location must provide one of the following before beginning clinical training:

• Proof of COVID-19 vaccination; or

• A completed COVID-19 exemption form.

If you need an exemption form, CareBridge Academy will provide one during a later step of the enrollment process.

Clinical requirements are established by the individual healthcare facilities where training takes place and may vary by location. Additional health, vaccination, testing, screening, or documentation requirements may apply depending on your assigned clinical site. Applicants will be informed of any site-specific requirements before clinical training begins.

To complete your enrollment and reserve a seat, you must submit the required $250 deposit or provide information about your third-party funding, cash payment, or other approved payment arrangement.

The $250 deposit consists of:

• $150 enrollment fee

• $100 supplies fee

The deposit is part of the standard $1,845 total program cost.

You may cancel your enrollment within five calendar days of submitting the deposit and receive a full refund. After the five-calendar-day cancellation period ends, the $250 deposit is nonrefundable.

If an employer, facility, workforce program, scholarship organization, or another third party will pay for your training, you may submit your application without making an online payment.

Examples include PA CareerLink, Job Corps, nursing facilities, scholarship programs, and other approved funding organizations.
